This is my story about a Meade 826.  This is an 8” telescope that Meade started producing in the late 1970’s.  It was a decent reasonably affordable telescope that could get the job done for many amateur astronomers.  Even today it is a nice scope.  This is my story of bringing this old scope into to the new millennium.
